What information do we collect when you use our website?

1. When you come to our website, and select to participate in one of the events, fairs, hosted by us, you provide us with the following. Not all the following details are mandatorily required by us, certain identifiers are collected from you, to provide specific Services, and are collected on a need to process basis.

  • name, e-mail address, phone number [where required];
  • physical address;
  • domicile and nationality information;
  • gender, date of birth;
  • username and password;
  • identification [where required];
  • education, professional data, resumes, work experience;
  • recommendations and references;
  • financial data;
  • passport details [where required];
  • any specific details which may be relevant for the event that you wish to register for, participate in;
  • any specific details which may be required from full-time & part-time employees, interns, etc.

2. When you come on to our website, and review our content, and Services, there are certain identifiers which get automatically collected by us:

  • unique device information, URL, pages you view, access, time-stamps, other diagnostic data;
  • IP address, general location, cookies, web beacons;
  • location based data;
  • type and version of your web browser, and operating system;
  • enquiries about our Services;
  • purchase information and history;
  • consent and privacy preferences.

3. When you come on to our website, through any other service provider, platform, there are certain identifiers which are shared with us, and we receive them from such third parties:

4. In case of institutional requests, we receive only such information which is provided by the educational institutes for availment of our Services.

Who do we share your information with?

We may share your information with your consent, or, with the parties who provide us with marketing, sales and customer support; provide us with technical infrastructure and underlying services; business and legal support; financial service providers; logistic service providers; contact management systems for correspondence; ticketing and event management organizations. We may also share your information with our group entities to be able to offer you more personalized Services, once we have your consent.

  • nominate a person as your legacy contact, in certain jurisdictions.

10. You need to understand that the rights which are afforded to you may vary depending on the region you are accessing our website and availing our Services. Our intention is to ensure that all our users have comparable rights afforded to them, but certain jurisdictions afford either a higher level of protection, or do not allow for certain rights to be bestowed on the residents domiciled in such jurisdictions. There are defined statutory timelines for retention of certain categories of personal information, and we abide by the same. In the absence of the same, we retain the information till we have a contractual obligation, your consent, or a legitimate interest for processing such information.

15. We will actively review the information we hold and delete it securely, or in some cases anonymize it, when there is no longer a legal, business or customer need for it to be retained. If you stop interacting with us as a user, we will remove your information as per the law.

22. This Privacy Policy came into effect on 1 January 2025, replacing our earlier Privacy Policy. Please write to the Data Protection Officer if you would like to find out more about any matters to do with this Privacy Policy, including to be able to access our earlier Privacy Policies.
