What Is the SEED Business School Festival?
Your Guide to India’s Premier MBA/Master’s Festival
Every year, thousands of study abroad aspirants make the same costly mistake: they spend months preparing their profile in a vacuum. They take—and retake, and retake, and retake—the GMAT, chasing a score they think will secure an admit. They email faceless admissions portals, read outdated Reddit threads, and pay non-refundable application fees to schools they’ve only read about—without ever speaking to an Admissions Director.
Here’s why that lack of clarity isn’t their fault.
-
Campus visits are expensive. An international trip can cost ?1L+ per location.
-
MBA campus tours rarely include the decision-makers. You might meet a student ambassador—or an alumnus, at best—not the person reviewing your file.
The SEED Business School Festival solves this by bringing Admissions Directors from leading business schools directly to you. Twice a year. Across cities in India, MENA, Southeast Asia, and Africa. It’s a format you won’t find elsewhere—and if you’re serious about pursuing an MBA or MS abroad, it may be the most important afternoon you spend this year.
What is the SEED Business School Festival?
The SEED Business School Festival is a multi-city higher education festival organized by SEED Global Education. Admission Directors and other senior officers from the world’s top B-schools travel to Indian cities to meet prospective MBA and MS applicants.
No intermediaries.
-
You don’t meet agents.
-
Or alumni volunteers.
-
Or student ambassadors.

What the Business School Festival is Not.
A lot of education events over-promise. In the interest of being straight with you:
-
The Business School Festival is not an interview. Conversations at the education festival are informal and informational; they don’t constitute part of any school’s formal review process.
-
The Business School Festival is not a place to receive scholarship awards. Funding decisions happen through each school’s official application channels through SEED Global Education, not at the event itself. What you can do here is understand how to position yourself competitively for merit-based aid.
-
The Business School Festival is not a sales event. There is no push to sign up for paid consulting services. What you do with the information you gather is entirely up to you.
Knowing what to expect going in means you get more out of the afternoon.
So, Which B-schools are you Getting Face Time With In India?
The Business School Festival draws a curated selection of 30+ of the most respected names in global business education. Generally, you can expect to meet decision makers from these globally-ranked institutions in North America.
Think about what it would take to replicate this on your own.
Getting face time with even three of these schools' admissions offices individually would require either international travel or months of calendar coordination—and you'd still be getting a scheduled, formal interaction, not the open, meaningful conversation that happens naturally in a SEED Global Education’s Business School Festival’s Open Fair setting.
At our event, you can walk up to the London Business School table at 3:30 PM, have a ten-minute conversation about your profile, then move to the Haas table and ask about fellowship deadlines—all in the same afternoon, in your own city, without spending a rupee!

What Happens at the SEED Business School Festival?
The SEED Business School Festival is designed to be explored at your own pace. Most attendees spend around 3–4 hours at the event, but the flexible format allows you to drop in when it suits you and stay for as much or as little time as you'd like.
Here’s what a typical day looks like:
The open floor
Schools set up designated booths, and you're free to walk up to any of them and start a conversation about your profile. There’s no appointment needed. You approach, you introduce yourself, and you talk about your candidacy for industry-relevant specializations.
That’s it. It’s simple, direct, and entirely in your hands.
School presentations
These are sessions where Admission Directors speak about what top programs are looking for, how the application process works, what mistakes high-calibre applicants in your country commonly make, and how to position yourself for a strong candidacy.
Think of it as an elevator pitch; you'll leave this session with a clearer sense of which institutions deserve your full, undivided attention during the Open Fair.
Profile reviews
Bring your resume, and your questions. You’ll get quick, informal feedback on how your professional profile reads, what story it tells, and what needs fixing before you apply.
Alumni panel
A live, candid conversation with graduates of participating programmes. Ask the questions you can't ask Admission Directors—what daily life is actually like, which elements of the programme are overhyped, and what they wish they'd known before enrolling.

What Past Attendees Say
Forget the pitch. Here’s how past attendees describe The SEED Business School Festival in their own words:
|
"ATTENDED BUSINESS SCHOOL FESTIVAL PREVIOUSLY" “I've been attending the SEED Business School Festival for the past two years. And I can tell you this: It is the place to be if you’re considering studying anywhere in the world: maybe it's the US, UK, or even, you know, places in Southeast Asia. They have the best business schools come to you, come to your city, and give you access to the information you need to make informed decisions. And over and above, they have partners like West Evaluation, Red Pen, and EduMate to support you through every stage of the journey.” — Laukik Patil, Mumbai, St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) |
|
" GOLDEN TICKET RECIPIENT " “Receiving the Golden Ticket was the turning point of the entire experience for me. It opened doors to direct conversations, networking opportunities, and access to people and guidance that I probably would never have reached on my own. More than the benefits themselves, it made me feel seen and genuinely encouraged at a stage where I was still questioning whether I belonged in these spaces.” — Vinaya Joshi, Hyderabad, Vellore Institute of Technology |
|
" FIRST TIME ATTENDEE " “My biggest hesitation about studying abroad was whether I would truly fit into a global classroom. I had done all the research, but everything still felt distant. I kept wondering if my background and experiences would make sense in that environment and if I would be able to contribute with confidence. That changed when I spoke with the admission teams of my target schools for the first time at the Business School Festival. They were simple conversations, but they made everything feel real. They spoke about students as individuals with unique stories. That shifted my perspective. I walked away feeling more confident about my place in this journey and much clearer about how to approach my applications.” — Amogh Deshpande, Hyderabad, Vellore Institute of Technology |
|
" SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT " “I first connected with SEED Global Education at their Business School Festival at the Radisson Blu, where I interacted with representatives from multiple schools. The sessions on applications and GMAT prep were practical and easy to follow, and I was able to exchange contacts directly with universities. What really stood out was how simple and supportive the process felt. The scholarship application was straightforward, and the team was always available to guide me and answer questions. Looking back, SEED made this opportunity visible and achievable. Without that first interaction, I wouldn’t have even considered studying abroad.” — Gelila Behailu, Ethiopia, Schulich Business School |
