Dr. Shardul Phadnis
Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management
Asia School of Business Dr. Shardul Phadnis is a Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Asia School of Business. His research focuses on how organizations create value through supply chains and how strategic tools like scenario planning enhance adaptability in uncertain environments. His work is published in leading journals including Strategic Management Journal and MIT Sloan Management Review, and he is the author of Strategic Planning for Dynamic Supply Chains (2022). He has received multiple accolades, including the Giarratani Rising Star Award and Best Reviewer Award from the Academy of Management. He also serves as President Emeritus of The Lost Food Project, a Malaysian food bank, and holds a PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. With prior industry experience, he teaches graduate and executive courses in supply chain strategy and scenario planning.

Asia School of Business Juliana is a global-minded higher education professional with over 25 years’ experience spanning admissions, academics, and student affairs. She has deep expertise in executive education, hybrid learning, and the future of work. Driven by a love of Asia, she joined Asia School of Business (ASB) in 2018. In 2019, she was offered the opportunity to help launch and run the newly designed MBA for Working Professionals Program (MBAWP), which has since evolved into ASB’s Executive MBA Program. Bringing her knowledge of these programs with her, Juliana now serves as Director of Admissions and Student Services & Wellbeing. Prior to joining ASB, Juliana spent nearly two decades at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, focusing her career on Working Professionals MBA Programs and later helping to launch the Master of Science in Business Analytics Program.
