Prof. Miriam Allena

Bocconi University Prof. Miriam Allena is an Associate Professor at Bocconi University, Milan, specializing in administrative law, environmental law, global administrative law, and public procurement law. She holds a PhD in Administrative Law from the University of Milan and has held teaching and research positions at renowned universities such as UC Berkeley, Oxford, Trinity College Dublin, and Université Montesquieu Bordeaux. Her research focuses on administrative law procedures, environmental regulation, and the intersection of public and private governance. Prof. Allena has authored two books and published over 70 scientific articles in leading Italian and international journals. She has been appointed to governmental working groups on public administration reform and environmental law, and regularly consults on climate policy projects, including international collaborations in Ethiopia. Miriam also serves as Of Counsel at Baker McKenzie, Milan, advising on administrative and environmental matters. She is often invited by the Italian Senate as an expert to discuss legislative proposals in administrative law

Veronica focuses on attracting and supporting international applicants, helping them navigate admissions during changing global conditions, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Her work involves international business development, communication, and organizing recruitment events to enhance Bocconi's global reach and student diversity.
