University of British Columbia - UBC Sauder School of Business Joyce Wong brings over 15 years of experience in banking and industry collaboration to her role at UBC Sauders Business Career Centre. She leads employer engagement for data analytics, building strong relationships with organizations across Canada and beyond. Passionate about connecting students with industry, Joyce supports them in exploring diverse career paths and understanding employer expectations, helping them navigate the transition from studies to meaningful roles in the business and data analytics space.
Daniel Hayashi
Recruitment & Admissions Manager
University of British Columbia - UBC Sauder School of Business Daniel’s career journey has taken him from Latin America, where he worked on expanding brands globally, to roles in Australia and Canada, where he has focused on student recruitment, marketing, and admissions. He holds a Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, along with degrees in Strategic Management, Economics, Marketing, and Digital Design. This global experience and diverse background drive his passion for helping students find the right academic path, particularly within the Master of Business Analytics (MBAN) and MBA+MBAN programs. He is deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment at UBC Sauder.

UBC - Sauder School of Business Mokka Lin is an MBAN Class of 2022 graduate and currently works full-time as an Analyst at Vancouver Coastal Health. He is currently also pursuing graduate studies in Evidence-Based Health Care at the University of Oxford and is the founder of Careviv, a healthcare startup with a vision to improve access to care in Canada.

Since completing the program, she has built her career in analytics and data science across leading Canadian organizations. After her internship experience during the MBAN program, she joined HSBC Canada as a Data Scientist within the Innovative Growth & Optimized Regressions (R&D) team for Global Banking & Markets, developing analytics and machine learning solutions. She currently works at Lululemon in Guest & Product Analytics, where she develops loyalty strategies supported by end-to-end analytical solutions, combining data science expertise with business strategy.
