This award is for candidates applying to the Full-Time DeGroote MBA Award & Full-time DeGroote MBA with Co-op Award program.

USD 25,000

Minimum A- average in final two years of study

Will have attended a SEED in-person or online event

2 years of work experience for the Full-Time MBA program, work experience while an asset, not required for the Full-Time MBA with Co-op program

Acceptance to DeGroote’s MBA program for September, 2026

Asian, Middle Eastern or African citizenship at the time of applying

Fulfil any pre-requisites that your desired program may have

The decision of awarding the scholarship will be adjudicated by the MBA Admissions Committee.

Master of Finance Award

This award is for candidates applying to the Master of Finance program.

Each Award worth

USD 15,000

Will have attended a SEED in-person or online event

Strong academic performance as evidenced by GPA and/or GMAT/GRE scores (minimum A- average in final two years of study)

Asian, Middle-Eastern, or African citizenship at the time of applying

The decision of awarding the scholarship will be adjudicated by the MFin Admissions Committee

Acceptance to DeGroote’s MFin program for September, 2026

At DeGroote, we seek students from diverse backgrounds ready to make a difference. Our MBA programs help you get there with integrated work experiences. The Full-Time MBA is a 20-month program with guaranteed part-time work in the first academic year, an optional internship, an 8-month consulting project, and leadership coaching. The MBA with Co-op is a 28-month program with three paid 4-month work terms, where students typically earn around CAD $47,000 over 12 months of work experience, preparing you to make an immediate impact in business.

1. Your next step involves preparing and uploading a few key documents like test score reports, academic transcripts and resume.

2. Additionally, you will need to write an essay for the upcoming stage.

3. When you've successfully filled out the entire scholarship application form, attached all the necessary documents, and sent in your fantastic essay, consider your application completed!

4. Candidates will be evaluated and shortlisted based on merit, and if you are among the shortlisted applicants, you may receive an invitation for an interview.

5. Lastly, in accordance with the timeline provided above, the SEED Scholarship winners will be officially announced.

Your scholarship award will directly be credited to your tuition fees.

You'll have the exciting task of crafting a 500-word essay centered on how the SEED scholarship will be your ticket to reaching your aspirations!

Your merit and every facet of your application will be thoroughly considered, and rest assured, you'll receive the top-tier award available based on your outstanding qualifications.

You can only apply to 5 scholarships under the SEED Scholarships Fund.

If another deadline is available at that stage, you'll automatically be in the running for consideration.
