GW SEAS is the School of Engineering & Applied Science at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. It offers undergraduate, masterΓ’β¬β’s, doctoral, and certificate programs across multiple engineering and applied science departments.
There are virtual tours, in-person campus tours, info sessions, and events specifically for prospective undergrad and graduate students. Also, there are Γ’β¬ΕInside Look at GW EngineeringΓ’β¬Β sessions, student-led tours, etc.
For non-SEAS specific, GW looks at high school performance, rigor of course load, GPA, essays, recommendation letters, extracurriculars, etc. Test scores are optional for many applicants. Specific engineering departments will have required prerequisites.
First year students get a professional advisor (based on major or undecided status). At the end of first year, students receive a faculty advisor in their major department who becomes their primary advisor until graduation
To graduate, students must satisfy GPA requirements (overall, in program, and in technical courses), complete all required courses for the major (including electives, humanities & social sciences where applicable), and apply for graduation via their student portal in the final semester.
