GW Engineering is the School of Engineering & Applied Science at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. It offers undergraduate, masterβs, doctoral, and certificate programs across multiple engineering and applied science departments.
There are virtual tours, in-person campus tours, info sessions, and events specifically for prospective undergrad and graduate students. Also, there are βInside Look at GW Engineeringβ sessions, student-led tours, etc.
GW Engineering looks at prior academic performance at all previously studied institutions, rigor of course load, GPA, essays, recommendation letters, resume, and more. Regarding test scores, the GRE is optional and English language test scores are required based on where you completed your prior studies. Specific engineering departments will have required prerequisites.
Master's students will be notified of their academic advisor prior to the start of the semester.
To graduate, students must satisfy GPA requirements (overall, in program, and in technical courses), complete all required courses for the program, and apply for graduation via their student portal in the final semester.
