The MSc Finance is a full-time, 12-month program beginning in September each year.
Candidates typically require at least a first or upper second-class degree (or international equivalent) in a quantitative discipline such as finance, economics, mathematics, or engineering. Strong quantitative and analytical skills are expected. English language proficiency is required for applicants whose first language is not English.
Work experience is not required. Most students enter the program as recent graduates or with up to 3 years of experience, but all applications are reviewed holistically.
The current cohort includes approximately 182 students. The class is highly international (about 90% non-UK students) and gender-diverse (about 43% female); the average age is roughly 23 years.
The program features a quantitative core, diverse electives, and practical projects. Students can customize their studies with electives in areas like private equity, fintech, climate finance, and more.
