Get all your questions answered about MSc Financial Technology by Imperial Business School

The programme is a full-time, 12-month course. There is also an optional extended term that allows you to undertake a longer work placement, which extends the programme to 16 months for added professional experience
You need a first or upper second-class undergraduate degree (2:1), preferably in a highly quantitative subject such as engineering, mathematics, computer science, economics, finance, or science. Proficiency in probability, calculus, matrix algebra, and real analysis is required. English language proficiency: IELTS 7.0, TOEFL 100, or equivalent if your degree was not taught in English
Yes, before the programme starts, you are expected to complete online pre-study modules in areas such as accounting, ethics and professional standards, finance careers, and career/professional development. These provide baseline knowledge but do not contribute to your final grade
GMAT/GRE is not mandatory for the application, but a good score (GMAT 650+) may strengthen your profile
