Applicants need a 2:1 undergraduate degree (or international equivalent) in any discipline. While a background in accounting or finance is beneficial, it's not mandatory. Strong quantitative skills are essential. International students need IELTS 7.0 overall with minimum 6.5 in each component.
Yes, the program is accredited by several professional bodies. Students can receive exemptions from ACCA papers F1-F9, CIMA Certificate and Operational level papers, and credits towards ICAEW ACA qualification, significantly reducing the time to achieve professional certification.
King's offers comprehensive support including pre-sessional English courses, dedicated international student advisors, visa guidance, and cultural integration programmes. The Business School has a buddy system pairing new international students with current students for the first term.
The programme runs from September to September including dissertation. Students typically have 12-15 contact hours per week through lectures and seminars. Additional self-study of 25-30 hours weekly is expected. The summer term focuses on the dissertation project.
The program typically lasts one year full-time.
