Master of Science in Supply Chain Management Different!

#1-Ranked Supply Chain Program in the U.S.

Broad's Supply Chain Management program is consistently ranked #1 in the U.S. by U.S. News & World Report at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The program is taught by the same globally renowned SCM faculty who teach on-campus at Broad — thought leaders whose research shapes the field and whose industry partnerships connect students directly to SCM leaders at Fortune 500 companies.

Hybrid Format Designed for Working Professionals

The 31-credit, 20-month program combines 8-week online courses with three on-campus residency weekends in East Lansing. This flexible structure lets students continue working full-time while earning a top-ranked master's degree — no career interruption required. All residency weekends include food, lodging, and classroom time in the all-inclusive program cost.

Cohort-Based Learning with Mid-Career Professionals

Industry-Driven, Practitioner-Focused Curriculum

The curriculum covers sourcing strategy, logistics operations, demand forecasting, risk mitigation, digital procurement, cost modeling, and supply chain technology — all designed for immediate workplace application. Courses are built around real-world case studies and simulations, so students can apply concepts to their current organizations throughout the program.

Corporate Cohort Enrollment & Employer Sponsorship

The M.S. in SCM is a 20-month, 31-credit hybrid program designed for working professionals. It combines 8-week online courses with three 3-day on-campus residency weekends in East Lansing (Friday–Sunday). Residency weekends are all-inclusive — food, lodging, and classroom time are covered in the program cost (travel expenses are separate). Students progress through the program in a cohort, maintaining full-time employment throughout.
No — the program does not offer full-time F1 visa sponsorship. Short-term F1 visa sponsorship is available only for the three on-campus residency weekends. The program is designed for working professionals already based in the U.S. or internationally, not for students seeking to relocate to the U.S. for full-time study. Indian students wanting F1-based U.S. study should consider Broad's Full-Time MBA with SCM concentration (STEM-designated, 3-year OPT eligible) instead.
Applicants need: a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, minimum 2 years of supply chain work experience (9+ years preferred), a cumulative GPA of 3.2+, a current resume, at least one recommendation from a direct supervisor (two preferred), and two personal statements covering professional background and career goals. GMAT/GRE is waived for applicants with 3+ years of SCM experience and a 3.0+ undergraduate GPA. Non-native English speakers need TOEFL/IELTS scores unless waived.
The program is approximately $1,540 per credit hour, with total tuition around $47,740 (31 credits). Financial aid options include federal student loans (for U.S. citizens/permanent residents), veteran benefits (GI Bill), and corporate cohort enrollment discounts — qualifying organizations that sponsor groups of employees may be eligible for tuition reductions. Many students receive full or partial tuition reimbursement from their employers.
The M.S. in SCM is ideal for mid-career supply chain professionals (averaging ~9 years of experience) looking to advance into senior SCM, director-level, or VP-track roles without leaving their current job. Typical students are Supply Chain Analysts, Procurement Managers, Logistics Coordinators, and Operations Leads seeking to deepen strategic SCM expertise. It's also well-suited for professionals whose employers sponsor continuing education, and for those targeting promotions within their existing organizations.
